10. Irving Saladino
Irving Jahir Saladino Aranda (born January 23, 1983) is a former Panamanian long jumper. He was an Olympic champion, he won the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and is the first and only gold medalist in Panama. He was world champion in the long jump in 2007. He represented his country in three consecutive Olympic Games, from 2004 to 2012, and competed in four World Athletics Championships from 2005 to 2011.
Among his honors are a silver medal from the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships and gold medals at the Pan American Games, the Central American and Caribbean Games, the Central American Games, the South American Games, the IAAF World Cup and the Ibero-American Championships of Athletics. He has a best long jump of 8.73 m (28 ft. 7 1/2 in.), Established in 2008. He is ranked in the top ten of all time for the event.  He had the longest jumps in the world in the 2006 and 2008 seasons.
